As part of the further development of the Slovakian highway network an additional 25 km long section of the highway D1 from Bratislava to Kosice (Poland), “Dubna Skala”, from Hricovske Podhradie to Visnove is to be realised as a BOT project. VCE is the responsible designer for 30 bridges with lengths of up to 1076 m for the client Hochtief-Alpine, as Concessionaire.
Box-beam-, double-T-beam-sections and slabs are to be constructed using scaffolding, free cantilever- or advancing-shoring construction methods.
