The Green Line Underground is part of the Doha Metro project and starts from Mshaireb Station, moves north through Al Diwan Station and then west through stations at Al Rayyan/C-Ring, Al Rayyan/Sports RA, Switchbox M30/M31, Al Rayyan/Al Messila, Al Rayyan/Al Qadeem, Crossing Box M30/M32, Education City South East, Qatar Convention Centre, Education City Station, New Switchbox and beyond to Trough at-grade portal.
Total underground length is approximately 18.5 km (twin tunnel). Further to the above mentioned structures, ten evacuation shafts are located along the alignment.
