In the course of the reactivation of the western loop line near Tulln the existing superstructure of the railway bridge is pulled down and replaced by a new structure. Furthermore the track axle distance is increased from 4.00 m to 4.50 m. The structure is attached on the existing substructure which is respectively reinforced and reconstructed for this purpose as well as due to higher loads for the case of a ship impact. The road bridge situated beside the railway structure is preserved.
