The Concession Company has been granted with a concession to construct the motorway from Zagreb to Macelj with all associated equipment and facilities (PPP-Model). The total length of the motorway is 60 km, where the northern part (19.4 km) in difficult surroundings is a complete new construction. In the south part the second carriageway with a length of 6.4 km with a bridge over the Sava has been completed. In the total section six new tunnels with lengths between 300 m and 1,700 m, eleven new bridges as well as new underpasses and flyovers has been constructed.
