The RTD project focuses on the development of cost-effective permanent monitoring technologies for accessible and non-accessible piping systems to increase safety in industrial production. The integrated approach comprises safety assessment, damage detection and localisation, design optimisation as well as the establishment of a knowledge based decision support.
