Due to increased complaints by neighbours an assessment of the vibration and structure-borne noise immissions in the object Herbeckstrasse 17 was carried out on behalf of Vienna’s public transport operator. For this purpose measurements and analyses were carried out and an assessment according to the Austrian standard ÖN S 9012 was performed. The results served as a basis for dimensioning a floating track slab system installed in the turnout area. After completion of the works verification measurements were performed.
