New Sava Bridge, Belgrade, Serbia

The new Sava bridge in Belgrade is part of a new urban motorway including a track for a tram line on the 45 m wide structure. The project was tendered as Design (VCE) and Build (Strabag/Dywidag/MCE) project in one package and is co-financed by the EU. The bridge itself is an asymmetric cable-stayed bridge with one post, a main span of 375 m and a back span of 200 m. The bridge is 929 m long including the foreshore bridge.
