PROJECT of the MONTH SEPTEMBER 2024 | Structural Health Monitoring System (SHM) for the Windanker Offshore Wind Park.
The Windanker Offshore Wind Park is a major project on Germany’s way towards climate neutrality. This park north-east of the island of Rügen comprising 20 wind energy plants with a nominal output of 15 MW each is realized in the German Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) by the Spanish energy provider Iberdrola.
Our VCE team is responsible for the design, supply, installation and operation of the SHM system for the foundations (monopiles + transition pieces). Furthermore, we take care of the comprehensive data management, the analysis of the collected data and the preparation of detailed reports.
