Redesign of the area in front of Schönbrunn Palace between the Palace Bridge and Grünbergstraße.
A new bus and car park was built between the underground and the Wienfluss and Schönbrunner Schlossstraße. In addition, the access from the underground exit to the palace was redesigned and a new arrival building was designed.
The existing parking spaces for coaches in front of the castle were relocated to the new coach parking area and therefore an undisturbed view on the castle building was enabled. The new coach parking area has 48 parking spaces for coaches and the car park accommodates 230 parking spaces.
By means of an attractive green design, a total of 300 trees were newly planted, and technically up-to-date lighting, a car park was created that is in keeping with the World Heritage Site.
